WITNESS APPEAL AFTER LONG EATON ASSAULT

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman allegedly had her face cut during an assault in a Long Eaton street. The woman had been involved in an argument with a man in Cobden Street, at about 9.15pm on Tuesday, November 1st. During the argument, the man allegedly assaulted the woman by using a piece of broken glass to cut her face.
The 22-year-old woman suffered minor cuts that needed hospital treatment. Police investigating the incident are appealing for anyone who saw the disturbance take place to come forward.
