LONG EATON KITCHEN FIRE

Firefighters were called to Acton Road, Long Eaton at around 2.30pm on Wednesday, May 13th after reports of a house fire. Fire crews from Long Eaton, Highfields and Stapleford fire stations were at  the scene along with an ambulance that was called as a precaution. Firemen arrived to find that the blaze had started in the kitchen and soon had it under control. By 3.45 only the Long Eaton crew remained at the scene. No one was injured.
