The annual Bonfire and Firework display is right around the corner, meaning this is the last chance for residents to get their tickets at a discounted price. The spectacular ‘Relight my Fire’ themed event takes place on Saturday 5th November at West Park in Long Eaton. The gates will open at 5pm.
Tickets can also be purchased at full
price on the night at the gate: adult tickets cost £10, 16 and under tickets
cost £7, senior citizens tickets cost £7 and the family bundle costs £25.
Children aged five and under can enter for free regardless of when tickets are
purchased.
The event is always popular so residents
are encouraged to leave their vehicles at home where possible. Public transport
is available for those who are not in walking distance of the event. Bus
timetables are available on the Trent Barton website.
If people are required to travel by car
please consider travelling in groups, being considerate of nearby residents,
and parking in local car parks instead of West Park’s:

Leader of Erewash Borough Council,
Councillor Carol Hart, said:
“The incredible Bonfire and Fireworks
Display is almost here. The event is one of the most fun and memorable in the
council’s calendar, so don’t miss out! I strongly encourage everybody who has
yet to purchase their tickets to visit our website to take advantage of the great
deals available. Please also consider how you are going to travel
to the event – we highly recommend people travel by means other than car due to
parking availability and event popularity. We want the entire evening to be as
enjoyable as possible, and that includes travelling through our beautiful
borough!”
