Report: There was an excellent turnout in spite of the terrible weather forecast (which was fortunately with only ten pounds splitting second to fifth places. Organiser Phil Hunt decided to pay the top three and then two default sections ("A" and "B" Bank pegs), the two section winners taking fourth and fifth places overall.
For the third consecutive week, it was the Andy Findlay show. This week Andy drew peg A8 where he accumulated a weight of 158-05 for a clear win, leaving the remainder of the competitors to slug it out for the minor places.
Shane Sayers (peg B15) filled second place with 88-07, with Lloyd Hayes (B19) taking third place with 80-03, with the two section winners in the next two places, Rob Lowe (B13) with 79-11 and Hughie Blair (A15) with 78-06.
I apologise for not saying how the catches were made but I was not present so do not have that information. My thanks to Phil Hunt for running the event in my absence, and Rob Lowe for the catch photographs (and probably his scales work as well).
